Introducing Course Feeds: Share What You Know, Learn Something New

You can now publish and follow courses on follow.it!

With course feeds, you can share what you know or learn something new, one lesson at a time. Publish your own course, or browse our course feed directory and choose one to follow. Lessons are delivered automatically, with each new follower starting at the beginning.

How do course feeds work?

Each new follower starts at the beginning of the series and receives the messages in sequence.

For example, for a “Learn to dance in 30 days” course: someone who joins today starts with lesson 1, and someone who joins next week starts with lesson 1 too. You prepare the content once, and follow.it handles the sending for each follower.

It’s useful for tutorials, welcome guides, daily tips, or any topic you’d like to teach one step at a time.

For publishers: Create your own course feed

When setting up a manual feed, you can now choose “Course feed” and add your lessons.

There are two scheduling options:

  • Fixed schedule: You decide when each message is sent relative to when someone follows your feed. For example, send a welcome message right away and the first lesson a day later.
  • Flexible schedule: You decide the order of the messages, and your followers choose which days and what time they want to receive them. Someone might prefer a daily lesson, while another follower chooses Mondays and Fridays.

You can also list your course feed in the directory to help readers discover it.

And there’s more coming: you’ll soon be able to monetize your course feeds, so you can earn from the knowledge you share. Stay tuned for details!
